Campbell Litigation Hosts General Counsel Event on the Economy and the Changing Workforce

Campbell Litigation hosted the General Counsel’s Insight on the Economy: A Workforce Perspective event this week at the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center in Denver, Colorado.[1]  The event featured general counsel from various industries addressing economic and employment trends, including the growth of a diverse workforce; sharing best practices for managing risks associated with a changing workforce; examining the role both in-house and outside counsel play in ensuring a legal team that can address the diverse workforce; and developing strategies to ensure outside legal counsel provides representation to address the changing workforce.

Campbell Litigation’s Stacey Campbell moderated the event, which featured a keynote speech from Fiona Arnold, Executive Director of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.  Margaret McLean (TeleTech),[2] Rolf Asphaug (RTD),[3] Rosland McLeod (SCL Health),[4] and Asker Saeed (Robert Half Legal)[5] spoke in a panel discussion regarding the changing workforce in Colorado and across the country.  Juan Bullón[6] and María Casero[7] (Ferrovial Airports) provided a global perspective to the changing workforce, while Joel Stern (NAMWOLF)[8] discussed the NAMWOLF Model of helping companies thrive in a diverse workforce.  Campbell Litigation also provided attendees with an article on the economic and employment trends in Colorado, the EEOC’s impact, and best practices for employers to handle the changing workforce (see related article).
